Cara Mengetahui IP Address Pengirim Email di GMail

Bagaimana cara mengetahui IP Address pengirim email? Anda mungkin membutuhkan informasi IP Address pengirim untuk mengetahui lokasi atau darimana dia mengirim email tersebut. Anda bisa memanfaatkan IP Address to Geolocation untuk mendapatkan informasi tersebut.

Ketika Anda menerima email, maka sebenarnya email tersebut memiliki informasi yang disebut dengan header information. Di dalam header information inilah IP address si pengirim email tercatat. Berikut adalah cara mengetahui IP Address Pengirim Email dari account GMail Anda (catatan : informasi ini hanya tercatat jika pengirimnya tidak menggunakan account GMail untuk mengirim emailnya).

1. Login ke Gmail dengan id dan password Anda.
2. Buka salah satu email yang ingin Anda ketahui IP address pengirimnya.
3. Klik pada icon segitiga disebelah button Reply. Klik pada Show Original
4. Perhatikan pada baris dengan tulisan berikut Received:from followed by the IP within square brackets [ ] e.g. Received: from ge3.i-nonymous.com (ge3.i-nonymous.com [82.96.97.51])
